Senior Frontend Engineer

  • Location: Remote
  • Department: Engineering
  • Employment Type: Full-time

What’s in it for you?

Paciva needs frontend experiences that make complex automation feel understandable. Users should be able to see what Paciva did, why it did it, and what they can change. As Senior Frontend Engineer, you will help build the product surfaces users interact with every day, including onboarding, connection flows, message review, rules, whitelists, audit logs, reporting, controls, and feedback. This role is for an engineer who cares about product quality, UX details, accessibility, performance, and clean implementation.

About the team and the opportunity

Paciva works behind the scenes, but users still need clear surfaces for setup, control, review, reporting, and correction. The frontend has to explain intelligence and automation without overwhelming people. You will work with design, product, backend engineering, AI, growth, and customer-facing teams to create a polished and trustworthy experience.

A day in the life

You may start by building a new message review screen. Later you may improve the interaction states for undo, refine loading behavior for reports, or work with design on a better rule builder. You may also collaborate with backend engineering on API shape or with product on instrumentation for onboarding.

What you will work on

  • Build frontend features for onboarding, setup, message triage, rule configuration, whitelist management, audit logs, reports, digests, and user feedback
  • Translate design concepts into responsive, accessible, high-quality product experiences
  • Work with APIs and product data models
  • Improve frontend performance, reliability, state management, test coverage, and component quality
  • Help create reusable UI patterns for trust, explainability, and user control
  • Mentor mid-level frontend engineers

What we need from you

  • 5+ years of frontend or full-stack engineering experience
  • Strong experience with modern frontend frameworks, component-based architecture, API integration, state management, testing, and responsive UI
  • Care for user experience and product quality
  • Comfort working with designers and product managers in an early-stage environment
  • Experience with SaaS dashboards, workflow tools, admin controls, AI interfaces, data-heavy UIs, or productivity products is a strong plus
